**General Description**
Location - Mountain View, CA We're searching for a Senior Manager of Carrier Partnerships (Integration & Analytics) to join the Services & New Business (SNB) division at Samsung Electronics America. This position will be based in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. SNB is an agile "start-up" team with highly talented and results oriented individuals. We take an interdisciplinary approach to transform the way devices are combined with software and services - increasing consumer engagement and creating new revenue opportunities - to accelerate company growth. We are responsible for strategy, product marketing, business operations and customer partnerships for services including Bixby, SmartThings, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health. We also incubate and operate growth platforms, including award-winning industry-firsts such as Samsung Rewards. Responsibilities The Services & New Business division is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Carrier Partnerships (Integration & Analytics) to lead execution of strategic, joint business planning, technology and service roadmaps alignment, launch planning and operations, performance analysis and business agreements execution that drive business growth for Samsung. The team implements "never been done before" strategic and operations projects working with internal business units, customers, and Samsung co-development partners. Located in Silicon Valley, New Jersey, and Dallas, the team provides a productivity frontier for diversely talented individuals to champion change that positively impacts the organization. The Senior Manager, Carrier Partnerships (Integration & Analytics) will lead carrier(s) new business strategy and execution from concept to commercialization including performance management to meet management expectations. He or she will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships at all levels internally and externally with carriers and strategic partners. You will report to the Senior Director, Customer Partnerships & Launch Operations and will work closely with Product Managers, Services Platform Leads, and On-Platform Engagement Leads to build partnership strategies, create strategic programs, socialize business opportunities externally and internally, and help drive partnership contract negotiations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, though other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
* Partner with carriers and lead joint business planning, services sell-in and identify carrier integration opportunities that will drive growth.
* Develop strategy and business cases (including financials) for making go/no-go decisions on new carrier strategic initiatives that deliver ROI that positively impacts Samsung.
* Establish and cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and lead end-to-end business planning and execution for relevant projects.
* Present and make new business and/or process and/or experience recommendations to the company's senior leadership, and champion implementation to achieve desired results.
* Continuously identify new opportunities to improve carrier services performance leveraging new features introduction, product and services expansion/integration, on/off platform marketing activities, customer partnerships etc. working with key functional (engineering, product, marketing) leads.
* Monitor carriers, industry and market trends continuously evaluating new business and/or technology partnership opportunities for Samsung.
* Serve as industry subject matter expert and deliver insights in one or more mobile, consumer electronics and/or wearable technology areas.
* Continuously provide monthly/weekly/ad-hoc carrier services performance reports, present carrier services growth recommendations, and champion implementation as need to exceed services growth goals. Desired Skills
* Develop and maintain excellent working relationships at both executive and working levels within and outside the company.
* Cultivate and execute carrier/s new strategic partnership projects and oversee resulting work-streams to completion.
* Possess a deep knowledge of relevant technologies and the competitive dynamics of the telecommunications, mobile device, and consumer electronics industry landscape.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all information learned, shared, used or stored in the Legal Department.
* Proficiency in quantitative analyses, data mining, using analytics platforms/dashboards to create meaningful insights
* Approach tasks and work assignments with a sense of urgency; handle high volume in a time-sensitive framework with strong sense of urgency and internal customer focus.
* Work well under pressure and tight deadlines, and negotiate on behalf of function to come to agreement by managing communications through discussions and compromise; issues can be strategic, long-term operational and/or tactical in nature.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Background/Experience Requirements
* MBA degree from a top business school with distinguished academic record preferred. Technical, computer science or engineering degrees preferred.
* 10 + years of relevant work experience from an internet, professional services, media and/or software companies. 2+ years of early stage or start-up experience is preferred.
* A proven leader with the ability to inspire greatness in others, develop and lead new business initiatives working with leading Silicon Valley companies.
* The ability to align key internal and external stakeholders and galvanize multi-faceted partnering businesses towards common objectives.
* Proven success executing complex strategic and operational initiatives that have achieved tangible industry impact.
* Superior collaboration and presentation skills with previous success using insights to drive service adoption working with engineering, product and marketing teams.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%, within North America and to South Korea
